Around the world, around the woorrlldd, aroouunnd the world, around the world...

Well it's been awhile since my last post, I've been pretty busy being awesome. So here comes a pic from Brian all the way from Brussels. Since I don't know the story of this shoe I'll make it up.

In 1830, during the Belgian Revolution, rebels decided to confuse law enforcers by throwing their shoes (tied together by the laces) on top of banner poles. This was a symbol which represented their feelings in honour of Auber's opera La Muette de Portici.
